Friday 21st March : 12H00 to 16H30 PLUS Saturday 22nd March: 09H00 to 17H00 Venue: The Studio, de Trafford Wine .NOT FOR BEGINNERS. If you are curious and inquisitive about creating floats in fabric, love yarn, love colour then this is for you. Still focusing on balanced weave with no complicated pattern we will explore how adding float like threads can create added texture and interest to your fabric. Classes are limited to 6 weavers maximum. Bring your own rigid/knitters 50cm(minimum width) loom with 10dpi reed/heddle*. The emphasis is on 2 days of relaxed slow weaving. Please note that we start on Friday 21st March at noon. We will set up the warp, prepare shuttles and hemstitch. The day will end at 4.30pm . We will gather again on Saturday 9am for a full day of weaving. Includes a lot of yummy 100% woolen yarn, tuition, welcome coffee light snack on Friday, lunch on Saturday and all refreshments on both days. I will be in contact with you via Whatsapp closer to the time re colour choice options. * If in the Western Cape, I will have a loom or 2 on loan (for a small fee) CANCELLATION POLICY: This workshop is refundable, minus a 10% cancellation fee if cancelled before Friday 21st February 2025. No refunds will be given if cancelled on or after Friday 21st February 2025.
