an Autumn update on Winter workshops

After a busy few months with online and in studio workshops I have said yes to a little holiday in May and then a month to focus on a new collection of silk scarves and shawls. #watchthisspace

I have enjoyed every workshop these last few months as each group filled the studio or zoom screen with passion & enthusiasm for the process of botanical dyeing or printing. The connections between fibre and humans are certainly interwoven and were tangibly felt in the few escaped hours in the beautiful de Trafford garden. The studio continues to bathe in quiet happiness long after the participants return home.

My last online class takes place this Saturday. As from July my workshops will take place in my studio here in Stellenbosch.

Please make note of following dates.

Workshops will be limited to a maximum 10 peeps during the winter months. More inside time but we'll have the fire going with delicious soup and wine to warm us up as well.

Workshops for July, August and September 2021:

Friday 30th July - Botanicals on Silk(Module 1)

Saturday 31st July - Botanicals on Linen(Module 2). For those that have participated in Botanicals on Silk join in this one or sign up for both.

Saturday 14th August - Botanicals on Silk(Module 1)

Friday 24th September - Botanicals on Silk(Module 1)

For those that have participated in any of my botanical dyeing or printing workshops and keen on purchasing a few metres of silk please email me and I'll forward on the price list. Note this offer is only for past workshop attendees. Mordants and modifiers are also on the list.

Please don't forget that private 'Botanicals on Silk' workshops are welcome for a minimum of 8 participants. Book your special printing party group from 1st July onwards.

Last silk orders will head out on Wednesday 28th April and resume on Wednesday 2nd June.
